TransHitos Expo-Show will take place again in Cevisama 2013
Finally, after overcoming numerous problems Cevisama will definitively house TransHitos Expo-Show. What will be the ninth edition of the exhibition will be focused on promoting urban and architectural uses for ceramic tiles. With the motto “geometries” TransHitos will be held from 5th to 8th of February 2013 at Feria Valencia. The news was confirmed by Ascer and the area of design and architecture at the Institute of Ceramic Technology (ITC).
The presence of TransHitos in the next Cevisama fair was not at all clear because of the substantial unpaid invoices, money that the regional Consell owes both Ascer and the ITC since some years ago (part of it related precisely to the TransHitos expo). But, finally, the three facilities that comprise TransHitos will be set up in the central area of Feria Valencia.
Two of them, with a dome design, will welcome the XI edition of the Architectural and Interior Ceramics Awards (best ceramic designs), and also the “Expocátedra” projects held by the “Red de Cátedras de Cerámica” (Ceramics Chairs Network) promoted by Ascer. The third facility will be a fragment of the building of the Innovation Centre for Children driven by the Foundation for Children Innovation of Valencia (FIICV), located in the Technology Park in Paterna, close to Valencia.
